Indonesian Stir Fried Green Mussels is an easy flavorful and aromatic dish that is made with fresh mussels and a variety of herbs and spices. Serve as a side dish or main dish along with a bowl of rice.
Cook the spices – Heat oil on medium to high heat in a frying pan. Add shallots and garlic. Stir fry until fragrant. Add chilis and kaffir lime leaves. Stir fry for 1-2 minutes.
Add mussels and hot water.
Season with sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, salt, sugar, and chicken stock powder. Mix until combined.
Cook until the water evaporates and the mussels are cooked. Turn off the heat.
